Rosé Wine Tasting (June 1, 2019)

After a few months break the wine tastings return with a more summery theme of Rosé wines! A lot of people (including myself originally) have some adversity against rosé wines but as usual with learning new things, often times we reevaluate our original ideas of what something is and start to appreciate it.

During the evening, we tried 5 wines instead of the normal 4 in the following order.

1. Peyrassol. Provence 2017.
2. La Cacinara, Mun Rosé 2018. From Marché Italy. 100% montepulciano. – Price 14£
3. Mistral Pauline Rose, Provence 2018.
4. La Belle Angele. 2018. Syrah.
5. Alphabetical Rose 2017.

And the winner was…… La Cacinara, Mun Rosé 2018. From Marché Italy. 100% montepulciano. – Price 14£. This one was a lot more full bodied than the other more provence-style light rosés we were trying.

OBS: We tried the 2018-version that has the same etiquette but bottle is different. Image is from this website by Harvey Nichols.
